Master Cuban cuisine
Together, we'll cook traditional Cuban dishes and cocktails using recipes I learned from my grandparents and gathered from the Cuban countryside. We'll discover how simple and tasty traditional Cuban cuisine can be. Over lunch, we'll discuss the challenges of running a private restaurant (paladar) in Cuba and how I've kept customers satisfied for over 25 years.
We'll meet at the Ranchón La Mulata restaurant at 11 a.m., an hour before it opens for business in order to have more privacy.
Me and my son, we are the owners of local restaurant Ranchón La Mulata, and enthusiastic defenders of Cuba's culinary traditions. My passion for Cuban food started when my two grandmothers taught me the recipes I would later use to develop my own restaurant.
We'll be at the restaurant at all times. There, together, we will cook an unforgettable lunch.
